Claudia Schiffer’s nod to the Amalfi Coast as a top vacation destination came during an interview with magazine Condé Nast Traveler. When asked about her favorite vacation spot, Claudia Schiffer answered “I love the Amalfi coast in Italy. There are so many beautiful little towns, as well as the larger ones like Positano and Sorrento, so I like to find a base and then explore the area.”
The famous supermodel went on to praise the beauty of Capri – an idyllic island close to Sorrento that is famous for its stunning coastal landscapes and wild Mediterranean gardens – describing the atmosphere of Capri as “like an old movie”, a nod to the island’s quaint charm and laid-back culture. Schiffer also offered top tips on where to eat and what to do whilst visiting the Amalfi Coast, explaining that she loves to eat at Conca del Sogno and recommends visiting Stromboli and Vulcano to see the glorious volcanic rocks, and perhaps even witness Stromboli erupt.
